Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) is an international youth leadership program that our chapter hosts for a three day seminar for eastern North Carolina high school students. Our 2017 seminar is happening June 15-17, 2018 at NC State University and we are amping up our planning efforts. We need YOU to make it happen! We were the very first seminar in the country to meet our recruitment goal – and have since exceeded it with over 125 students registered to attend!
We are in need of folks to serve in a variety of roles – I can guarantee you that there is a place for you!
I am thrilled as a 2008 alum of HOBY to serve again in 2018 as the leadership seminar chair and am looking for a team of folks to help plan. If you’re looking to make a difference for the next generation, enhance or learn new skills, such as recruitment, fundraising, public speaking, mentoring, and SO MUCH MORE, please join us at our first HOBY Interest Meeting –
Can’t make it but want in on the fun? No problem! Please email me (cebrady92@gmail.com) and I will be in touch with you!
Thank you in advance – no pressure, but we’ll be welcoming our OUTSTANDING participants in just 132 days!
