We’ll be partnering with the Cary Jaycees to help staff their booth at the Carter Finley Stadium while NCSU takes on Furman College. There are a variety of tasks to help with, including (but not limited to):
- Refilling ice in cups
- Restocking sodas/waters/snacks
- Cashiering
- Assisting the cashiers (grabbing items as ordered)
- And others
Please consider volunteering, as we will receive $100 for each volunteer, which will benefit the chapter greatly.
What to Wear:
Please come dressed in a red shirt, pants or shorts and closed toed shoes. Please be mindful that the games
earlier in the season may still be a little warm, and the later games can be rather cold. You should come
expecting that you clothes will get your clothes dirty. Please wear shoes that are comfortable to stand and walk
in for long periods of time.
Where to Park:
As a volunteer you are able to park in the volunteer lot, this is a gravel lot back behind the Hunt Horse
Complex. You can walk from the parking lot to the stadium, it is about a mile long walk, however, there is also
a shuttle that runs intermittently between the lot and the stadium that you can ride for free as a volunteer. You
are also able to park anywhere on the street (that is legal). We have found that Sunday Dr. off of Trinity Rd.
offers a great place to park that is free.
When to Arrive:
Due to the nature of televised games, we are not able to know the exact time of arrival needed for games until
the week before. However, you should plan to arrive 1-2 hours prior to the game to set up the concession stand
and take inventory. We are concession stand A. (see map below). You may enter through any gate with your
volunteer badge or you can enter through the kitchen if you have not received a badge yet.
RSVP: Please RSVP by sending Jenna an email at waggonerjk@gmail.com
I hope to see you out there!
GO WOLFPACK!
(Or go Furman, if you’d rather…) 🙂
