Carowinds Run and Ride

Do you like roller coasters? Do you like to or have the wish to become more fit? Join the Raleigh Jaycees at Carowinds Run and Ride on September 10th!

What: A 5k walk/jog or 1 mile race followed by a day of roller coaster riding. Please feel free to walk/jog at your own pace! If running/walking is not your thing, come out at be a spectator! Cheer on your fellow Jaycee racers and come ride the roller coasters afterwards!

Where: Charlotte, NC. We will be coordinating carpooling up to Charlotte either the night before the race, or the morning of the race. Racers get free parking with their registration! There will be a gas stipend available to cars driving 4 or more people. Hotel options to be discussed at a later date with those interested in carpooling the night before.

When: Sept 9 (Friday) – Sept 10 (Saturday). Race starts at 8:30 am sharp! Packet pickup is Friday 4 – 7 pm or the morning of the race. You must pick up your packet to get your free entry tickets! Spectators – you must print off your tickets and bring them with you that morning.

Cost: Cost depends on when you sign up, and what you would like to do.
