I wanted to share that we are doing a condensed but still exciting version of Advent Calendars this year!! We will meet on December 9th at 6:30 pm at Jaycee office to create/decorate a 14 day Advent Calendar!! This will be the 3rd year we do this event!! It will look a little different but I know it will still have the same charm as the creator Jenna envisioned!!
What I need is for everyone to collect their toilet paper and paper towel rolls so we can have enough to make the 14 days calendars! I can coordinate pick up from people OR if you come to the event you can bring what you have there! Next RSVP for this fun event! Once we know how many people attend then each person will need to bring 14 trinkets that can fit into a toilet paper roll. These items can be jewelry, lotion, hand sanitizer, fidget toys, or other random items that can be fun for people to open as we count down the days until holidays! Last year’s best item was an airplane bottle of liquour or the poo pourri or jewelry! So many fun items that you can get creative with along with candy that accompanied the rolls! I look forward to seeing what unique items can be filled into the roles! It made the holiday season that much special with the unknown prize got to open each day!! Plus putting them together is a fun time as well!!
