The Special Olympics is all weekend long and you can choose when you want to volunteer but I have chosen two roles so we can hopefully volunteer together.
The first is the Venue Assistant position from 5:15-10:30 PM on Saturday June 2 at Talley Student Center on the NC State campus
Venue Assistant-Venue Assistants help with odds and ends logistics at venues. They will be helping support the event with filling up water coolers, managing lines, manning the volunteer check-in area, helping sort lunches, and other tasks as necessary!
The second is the the Results Assistant postilion from 8:30 AM-2:20 PM on Sunday June 3 at St. Augustine’s University Track – Raleigh
Results Assistants-The Results Runners must be comfortable on their feet all day as they are taking results from competition to our Admin area for data entry. It is a fun but tiring job- make sure to wear your pedometer to see how many steps you can get in.
Shift notes-Run and/or Text Certain Results to the appropriate management team member.
