Goodfellows: Since 1934, we've helped needy children experience the joy of Christmas. Goodfellows children are treated to a banquet of turkey and all the trimmings, a visit with Santa Claus, and a shopping spree for needed clothing and shoes.
Haunted House: We build a haunted house in the fall and run it for two weeks around Halloween every year.
Turkey Shoot: We run a turkey shoot booth at the North Carolina State Fair every year. What is a Turkey Shoot? Line up twelve people in front of twelve paper targets and give them all guns full of bird shot. The closest one to the center of the target walks away with a turkey.
Gala for Hope: We host a gala evening event to support the Duke Cancer Patient Support Program at the Duke Cancer Institute.
Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation: For three intense days, high school sophomores interact with business, education, government, and community leaders to probe issues like the role of government, the future of the United States, entrepreneurship and leadership development.
Sand Volleyball: We have teams that play in the Raleigh City League every summer.
Beer and Wine Tasting: Sample beers from local breweries. Taste a diverse selection of wines. Enjoy appetizers provided by Tir Na Nog. Try your luck with the raffle. Stay after for a local band. All proceeds benefit HOBY East.
Bowlathon: We hold an annual bowlathon to benefit a chosen cause.
