All are welcome to attend a meeting or an event to witness, first hand, the impact we have on the community and each other. Becoming a member of the Raleigh Jaycees will allow you to truly be part of an amazing group of individuals who grow, contribute, motivate, create and give back with every project...the benefits are endless!

What can you gain from joining other Triangle young professionals?

New professional skills. As young adults, many of us are still in the early stages of our careers or even changing careers. That’s why we offer workshops and leadership development opportunities that expand professional knowledge and confidence. Budgeting, project management, personnel management, fundraising and public speaking are just a few of the skills you can develop or enhance in the Jaycees.

A larger business network. Once you join, you’ll have access to chapter communication tools that will facilitate your interaction with others. This is a rich networking environment for connecting with other young professionals, whether you’re hoping to find new customers or looking for referrals for services you need.

New friends. With such a varity of opportunities, by participating in projects that interest you, you’ll meet people that have similar interests. Lifelong friendships are one of the many benefits of becoming a Jaycee.

The satisfaction of helping others. Service to humanity is the best work of life! We do lots of community service and charitable fundraising. The opportunities to serve others and feel good about yourself abound in the Jaycees.

New personal skills. Almost no activity is off-limits for Jaycee project subject matter! Past projects have included interior decorating, financial planning, landscaping, mask making, avoiding identity theft, belly dancing, home buying... you name it! It always seems a little easier to try new things with a group of people you already know than all by yourself. New project ideas are always welcome!

Great deals on amazing trips. Because we generally bring large groups, we can often negotiate better prices for trips than you could get on your own. Typical annual trips include snow skiing/boarding, camping, whitewater rafting and a beach trip. Sometimes we’ll even go somewhere more exotic, like Las Vegas.

Fun opportunities for sports and leisure. We run several fitness events. These projects vary each year but often include seasonal leagues such as sand volleyball and individual events such as hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, golf and canoeing.

A new perspective. We often offer projects that explore interpersonal relationships, religious and spiritual issues, international cultures and other topics that can help you learn more about yourself and the world around you. We also offer a book club and a film club, where you can compare your thoughts and insights with others.
