• What does Jaycees mean?
• "Jaycees" is short for Junior Chamber. The Raleigh Junior Chamber, more commonly known as the Raleigh Jaycees, is an affiliate of the North Carolina Junior Chamber, United States Junior Chamber and Junior Chamber International.
• How do I join the Jaycees?
• To join the Jaycees, visit our membership page or contact our Membership VP.
• What kinds of leadership opportunities do the Raleigh Jaycees offer?
• As young adults, many of us are still in the early stages of our careers or even changing careers. The Raleigh Jaycees offer workshops and leadership development opportunities that expand professional knowledge and confidence. Budgeting, project management, personnel management, fundraising and public speaking are just a few of the skills you can develop or enhance in the Jaycees.
• Are there meetings?
• The Raleigh Jaycees hold General Membership Meetings on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 7pm. Open to everyone, our bi-monthly meetings are a great way to find out what activities are coming up. Visit our calendar for meeting location information.

• GET INVOLVED! The Raleigh Jaycees offer a variety of activities for members. Take a look at our calendar and find something that appeals to you! Guests are always welcome at our events; please join us at either event listed below or any listed on our calendar and get to know us a little better!

General Membership Meetings (GMMs): Open to everyone, our meetings are a great way to find out what activities are coming up. Meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Visit our calendar for meeting location information.

Open House: The Membership team highly encourages all guests and new members to attend our Open House, which is held before the first GMM of the month. This is an opportunity for prospective and new members to learn about the Jaycee organization as well as the community service, networking, social, and leadership development opportunities provided by the Raleigh Jaycees. Membership dues for the Raleigh Jaycees are only $80 the first year and $75 for each renewal year. Many employers will even sponsor your membership! Members enjoy countless benefits including access to our e-mail groups, subscription to our monthly newsletter, discounts on trips, unforgettable experiences and friendships. Membership in the Raleigh Jaycees also includes automatic membership in the NC Jaycees, the US Jaycees and Junior Chamber International (JCI), one of the leading young professional organizations in the world!
