a fundraiser to benefit Goodfellows
Spend a Saturday evening at the 3rd Annual Beer & Wine Tasting Event. Sample beers from a variety of local breweries. Enjoy wines from a variety of vineyards. Purchase food from Tir Na Nog. Try your luck with the raffle. All proceeds will benefit the Goodfellows event run by the Raleigh Jaycees. Tir Na Nog will donate 15% of the food sales during the event to Goodfellows.

*In addition to a sample of beers and wines, your admission includes one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased at the door for $3 or 2 tickets for $5. The raffle tickets can be used to win gift certificates to local restaurants and Carolina Hurricanes hockey tickets!
Goodfellows is the oldest continuously running Jaycee project in the world. On December 14, 2008, for the 74th consecutive year, the Raleigh Jaycees will provide holiday cheer to children who otherwise would not have had a Christmas experience. 90 children in the Triangle NC area are treated to a shopping trip to Belk's at Crabtree Valley mall for coats, shoes, socks, and clothing. Then the children are taken to the Crabtree Marriott for a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Finally, they get to meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus for gifts.
