CPGs
Initial CPG for Learn, Lose, Live (Presented by Pat Sauter on behalf of Allison Anderson)
- Motion made by Teresa
Nichols to approve the initial CPG with an appropriation of $500 from the
chapter.
- Motion seconded by Pat Sauter.
- Discussion: Teresa Nichols thanked the board for allowing Alison
to do this project and said that this would be a year-long
project extending from January 2011 to January 2012. She said she
understood that this is a large appropriation, but after some discussion,
the team agreed that since this project was a popular project last year
and is touching perhaps 55 members, that this is an acceptable appropriation,
and she hopes the board will agree. Karen Ray asked about the initial $60
per year buy-in mentioned in an email to the previous yearŐs Biggest Loser
group, and Teresa said that after some discussion, the team decided that
the appropriation mentioned above should lower the cost of the buy-in, so
it was lowered to reflect the buy-in amount reflected in the CPG.
- Motion passed.
Initial CPG for Super Bowl Party (Randy See on behalf of
Andy & Shira Samaniego)
- Motion made by Teresa
Nichols to approve the initial CPG with an appropriation of $150 from the
chapter.
- Motion seconded by Randy
See.
- Discussion: Teresa Nichols said that Andy and Shira
did this last year, everyone enjoyed it, and this appropriation is in line
with the appropriation from last year, and she hopes everyone will agree
to approve this project.
- Motion passed.
Initial CPG for Fuel Drive (Presented by Karen Ray on
behalf of Alicia Wendt)
- Motion made by Nephitearya
Bailey to approve the initial CPG with an appropriation of $100 from the
chapter.
- Motion seconded by Karen
Ray.
- Discussion: Nephitearya said that Alicia is asking for $100
appropriation and, but this money is just in case (for gasoline), and
sheŐs spoken to Warmth for Wake and they have everything set up where we
may only need to provide the manpower. Nephitearya also said that the project
already has a great date, so the project is ready to go.
- Motion passed.
Initial CPG for Chapter Visitations (Presented by Teresa
Nichols on behalf of Lisa Joyce)
- Motion made by Nephitearya
Bailey to approve the initial CPG with no appropriation from the chapter.
- Motion seconded by Pat Sauter.
- Discussion: Nephitearya waived discussion to Teresa. Teresa said that
Lisa really wanted to have a project where we actively visit and learn
about what other chapters are doing. Pat asked if helping at the Wine festival
was considered a chapter visitation. Teresa responded by saying that it
was considered a chapter visitation, and that helping at that project is
already in the plan for this yearŐs chapter visitation project.
- Motion passed.
