Ed Blackman motioned to approve the CPG as written with an appropriation of $100. Alison Houchin seconded the motion.

Discussion: Thanks for stepping up and running this project; questions about too much help – they have a lot of volunteers in the area; they send out emails for people to come and help

Motion passed.

Community Fundraising Area Update – Phil Taylor

· Goodfellows – going well; Charity days raised $1500 this year; meeting regularly for planning; Christmas tree sales first weekend in December; poker tournament coming up; wine tasting should have CPG soon; help out as chaperone; fundraising; addressing members making commitments on behalf of the chapter without going through the board

Community Service Area Update – Ed Blackman

· Upcoming events – HOPE, food bank on 12/14; blood drive on 12/17; CARE 12/7

· Will be presenting CPG for boys home Christmas project instead of using money for birthdays

· HOPE insurance issue still working on getting it; key to learning center; cub scout project will have to cut back on this and seek outside assistance for this; project chair and CPG coming soon
