· Approval of Bart Poyner as Turkey Shoot Chairperson - Questions for Bart – have learned from TS – have the experience; Great that you will be running this;

Do you have someone for manpower – want a strong person for this position;

Thanks for stepping up and doing this; what are you going to do to make it yours – carter did a great job last year; efficiency with shot guns; run with it later – discussions with Paul and Carter; wanted to make sure that covered at work; do a good job; Bart was approved as the chairperson. Kickoff will be in a couple of weeks.

· Elections – Jeff Zabawa motioned to allow the elections committee to use the announce list to send an email to the Chapter with elections information. Christine Bauer seconded the motion. Discussion: It will be just one email and will come from the elections committee. Motion approved.

Jeff Zabawa motioned to allow each of the Presidential candidates to use the Raleigh Jaycee roster for a list of members’ physical addresses to send campaign materials to the members via USPS mail, if they choose and at their own expense. Motion seconded by Christine Bauer. Discussion: This is for one piece of mail to the entire chapter by the Presidential candidates only. Motion approved.

· Peter Ansbacher un-tabled the motion he made at the August 22 board meeting to use all our votes at State Convention to disapprove the $8 dues increase. Jeff Zabawa seconded the motion. No discussion. Motion approved.
