beginning of the year for success time to start fresh and make things better
as a board and as a chapter.

Directors Jill Beck will change to Community Fundraising; Laura Littleton
will change to Individual Development; and Katie Hendrix will change to
Membership.

Find Your
Passion and Make it Happen is this years motto. The Chapter Plan developed at
the beginning of the year was gone over. The chapter plan has 7 main objectives

chapter budget with new projects operating expenses

for charities

Better
relationship with Chamber of Commerce and Raleigh Jaycees

payment for chapter dues and projects

June; only down 2 for the year; at 61% retention; possibly go higher; working
with members; contact veterans; 6 membership socials so far; Julys social
postponed; big one in August; membership drive; advertising; website; years of
service certificates difficult; looking for project chair for open houses;
Sharon Worthington coming to Aug. open house; in works with CF for bowl-a-thon;
get new members to be on committee; fall kickoff all new members to get new
information about projects; do haunted house room; team had a great meeting;
appreciate support of the board

current member more user friendly; Corporate recruiting package series out
to corporate world to encourage companies to pay for membership;. foundation
items are in the office for use; will look more into website to see what can be
