Project Presented: HOPE Bike Drive

Melissa Taylor moved to accept the CPG with $50 appropriation from the chapter.
Peter Ansbacher seconded the motion.
Motion to accept the CPG passed.
Kerry also stated that she
would no longer be on the CIF Board of Directors.
Community Fundraising
– Karen Schellhorn
-Area Update
The Brookhill Gala CPG will be presented at the
July board meeting.
The HOBY CPG will also be presented at that time.
Income for HOBY exceeds the expenses.
The HOBY car raffle grossed $7,896.98. The prize
was $1,000.
The date for Basketball for the Boys has been moved
to September 11th.
The new location for Bid for Bachelors is the
Raleigh Women’s Club.
Community Services
– Amanda Grim
-Area Update
There are many things going on at Heritage Park.
The Cub Scout Troop is being formed.
Heritage Park will go to the beach on 7/17.
This month they will be joining film/book club to watch “Holes”.
HOPE kids will be attending the Fitness 2004 to go boating/kayaking at
Lake Johnson.

There was discussion about the scholarship fund.
Amanda Grim moved to approve the transfer of funds
from the CIF fund to the Raleigh Jaycees Scholarship bank account.
Karen Schellhorn seconded the motion.
Motion passes.
Counsel - Reed Hollander
-Area
Update
CIF now has insurance.
The policy the Raleigh Jaycees has now covers both
the Raleigh Jaycees and the CIF.
Any projects requiring coverage, please complete
the event form.
Projects right now are listed in the chapter
budget.
Secretary –
Susan Lynch
Susan Lynch made
a motion to approve the May board meeting minutes.
Jeff Gordon
seconded the motion.
Motion passes.
