I'm brand new, what do I need to know?

Everything, of course! (just kidding)... this page is intended to be a "brief" overview of the web site, which is a central part of communications within our Chapter... if you only started with several things, start with:

Keep up to date

Stay up to date with what's happening, see our calendar of events .
We have 3 mailing lists in the Chapter. You can join inside the roster tool. (see the explanations on the email-list page for more detail)
Read Jaycall, our monthly newsletter. The latest version is always available online, along with archived copies of previous versions.
Sign up to receive your Jaycall electronically each month, by updating your roster information (pick Y for eJaycall). You'll get your Jaycall earlier, in color, and help the chapter save $$$ on one of its top-5 expenses (printing the Jaycall).

Find your way around

Need directions to a project? Check the calendar of events, click on the event (its a link), and in many cases, the details page will include a link to a Mapquest map (VPs please enter street addr and zip info into event records)

How does this chapter work??

Our Bylaws and Policies are available under the file download section.
Wonder how much it costs to run our chapter? Each year the Board makes a budget and writes a Chapter Plan. These are available under the file download section.
It's a little out of date, but our Tidbits page explains a bit of how we are organized.

What language are they speaking?

Manage your roster info, get the latest roster

Update your own roster information and/or download the latest copy of the roster. You can also look up a friend's phone #, or get directions to a friend's house.

Resources for project chairs

Chairpeople, contact your VP to get your project/meeting on the calendar of events.
Need to reserve the JC office for a meeting? Check the calendar of events for open times, and then talk to your Director/VP to reserve.
