Team On court - 4 players total min, 6 players total max. Two females must be on the court at all times for the match to be official. A team may play with one female if both teams agree before the start of the match. The team with a full roster may chose to play or take the forfeit. On roster - 10 players max (2 females min). You may only play for one team in this league. Game Winner of the coin toss chooses either: (1) to select to serve or receive service of the first ball OR (2) the side of the court on which to start the game Best of 3 games, Rally scoring (all faults score) to 21 If a 3rd game, use Rally scoring to 15. Must win by 2, no cap Time Each team has 1 time-outs (1 minute) per game for a maximum of 3 per match There is no match time limit If a game is still going on past the next game start time and one of the playing teams is scheduled to play at the same time, there will be no forfeit. Forfeits Any team forfeiting 4 matches or 4 referee assignments will be required to pay a $10 reinstatement fee to stay in the league. Not enough women on court 5 min late (10 min late forfeits match) Playing Rules Double hits, lifts, carries are illegal. Players may jump to spike the ball while in the back row. Player may not touch net during play. Player may not block or attack-hit the serve (overhead or set over). 'Let' serves are legal (served ball hits the net and goes over) Any part of the body may be used to contact the ball. Block (over the net) does not count as a hit. No profanity!
