The Raleigh Jaycees CIF Board Meeting Minutes 10/28/08

Call to Order – Paul Hoover Pledge of Allegiance

Presentation of Initial/Final CPGs:

Project: Boyce Tree Farm Sales initial CPG by Jennifer Scott; Karen Sadler motioned to approve the CPG as written with no appropriation. Motion seconded by John Sauter. Discussion: think you will do great, thank you for doing this, enjoy working with them, hope to have the donation of Santa photos, motion passed.

Community Development area update– Goodfellows is the big thing going now; several fundraising events; want to do more events for Habitat and CARE but nothing scheduled; HOPE turkey baskets coming up; changed hours at HOPE so won’t be able to work out there and will try to match with another group

Treasurer area update – have Goodfellows deposit slips and have them here in the office; if you have any checks get them to me, HOBY CD will be renewed; do have some accounts up with the FDIC insured

Secretary area update – will have minutes by the next meeting

New Business – HOBY Committee – Sandy Mitofsky will be the head of the HOBY corporate committee – corporate board president for HOBY national; will have more info next month.
