Discussion on Vision by Area:

President’s Comments on Vision: The focus for the year will be our membership – serving the membership, all projects are starting to struggle and we are pulling in non-members to run them; try to provide what the Chapter wants; we lost Brookhill that got our name out there – want to put more money into advertising our name; have more professional offerings with ID; we do offer good things; will be updating furniture in the office; want feedback from everyone; everyone’s area to get members activated and excited; bring in guests to open houses and GMMs

New Business:

v Ed Blackman made a motion to appoint Michael McKnight as Legal Counsel. Seconded by Alison Houchin. Discussion: We look forward to having him with us. Motion passed.

v Administered the oath of office to Khaner Walker, Deidre Albert, and Michael McKnight.

v Jeff Zabawa asked about presenting the oath of office to the new members and renews; not a binding oath – something to think about; Ed didn’t like the idea of doing the member oath; Stacy suggested doing it as a veteran instead and having it as an option; Jamilyn suggested steering away from who’s ready to join speech
