Project Presented: Bid for Bachelors 2004 (Initial)

Chair: Leah Breckstein

Stacey Shaw moved to accept the CPG with $3000 CIF appropriation.

Christine Bauer seconded the motion.

Leah noted there would not be any bachelorettes this year.

A short CPG is needed for the raffle.

Early bird tickets will be $35 and night of will be $50

Reed said she should look into getting the solicitation rules from the Brookhill Gala committee.

Motion to accept the CPG passed.

 

 

Community Fundraising Area Update

Gala update – still looking for volunteers for night of. They already have close to 140 people who will be in attendance.

8 live auction items and 65 silent auction items

 

Treasury Area Update

There are now new checks and deposit slips.

Christine will have the new financials next month.

 

Legal Counsel

State law requires any charity that raises over a certain amount to have a charitable solicitation license.

Christine and Reed will work on the application for the license.

We may need to work on new rules for charitable solicitations.

 

Reed is working on finding a better policy that is not events based.

Insurance cost may go up from covering two companies instead of one.

 

Secretary

Susan Lynch made a motion to approve the April CIF board meeting minutes

Dupre Jones seconded the motion.

Minutes approved.
